“Mountain View Cottage” – Country Retreat with Magnificent Mountain View

The country home your dream about, but rarely find. Set on approximately 5 acres (2.02 hectares), just minutes from the Mitta Mitta township, “Mountain View Cottage” combines a beautifully renovated cottage, magnificent established gardens and outstanding views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Blending modern comforts with the romance of a country cottage, the home comprises three (3) bedrooms, including a main bedroom with ensuite and built-in robe. The family bathroom features a classic clawfoot bath, while a separate outdoor garden bathroom offers an inviting place to soak and unwind.

The welcoming sitting room features a brick feature wall, slow-combustion wood heater and split-system heating and cooling. French doors open to the wraparound verandah, providing a delightful setting to relax, entertain and enjoy the picturesque outlook.

The refurbished kitchen offers electric cooking, a dishwasher, generous storage and ample bench space. An adjoining meals area features attractive wainscoting and a peaceful colour palette. Original polished timber floorboards, quality fixtures and fittings, and a well-appointed laundry further enhance the home.

Beautifully maintained grounds combine cottage garden beds, established trees and shrubs, and inviting outdoor sitting areas. A dedicated fire pit area takes in the surrounding mountains, while a circular driveway creates a welcoming approach to the cottage.

Impeccable fencing and infrastructure complement the acreage, with a bore and rainwater storage providing water supplies. Double-bay lock-up shedding with an adjoining skillion offers practical storage and workspace, while a separate detached studio provides flexibility for hobbies or creative pursuits.

Offering privacy, space and exceptional scenery, “Mountain View Cottage” presents a wonderful opportunity to enjoy country living in the beautiful Mitta Valley.
